Joining Smith’s warm, shimmering acoustic, Immerglück holds down wailing pedal steel and lap steel, plus bass, along with Counting Crows bandmate Charles Gillingham on piano, Wurlitzer, and organ. Chris Seefried, long-time friend and musical co-conspirator, rounds out the LA sessions.
